Summer and Lacy are best friends. Well they were until Zoey Jones joined Jefferson Middle School. Summer & Zoey immediately bond but Summer sees Lacy doesn't really like that she's talking to Zoey. Summer tries to tell Lacy her plans with Zoey but she sees that Lacy is acting weird toward her. So what does a girl in MS do when her best friend begins acting weird? Start a BFF War of course!This was not MS at all; totally HS. I like Summer. She's a cheerleader and popular but she's not stink or stuck up, she's nice actually. It was nice seeing Ally and how Zoey and Finn got started after reading about both in HS. Lacy was totally messed up. What she did was just...Carazay! I was very happy about the ending though.
By reading this story (and the other MS stories by Melanie Marks), you get to see how friendships & relationships got started and led in to High School. (I've read His Kiss, Fall For Me, Fall Forever, and High School Boys so I know the MS characters)
Overall a fun book that you have to pay attention to or else you'll be lost!

Imlikes the book, but I think they didnt have to be mean, they could just talk about it. It was a good book.
i really like this book, but the only setback is that at some places in the book, things are all over the place, for example when summer runs into nicole, and nicole says she had a feeling she should talk to her, the author didn't write about their talk, or anything, and just skipped to the next subject.
but overall, this is a good book about friendships and fights.
I love this book. it's full of excitement and friends. If I were you, I would read this book over and over again.
I loved it. I never wanted to put the book down! I was up for hours reading and I normally don't like to read. I was actually kind of sad when it was over. So I just read it again )
You have to get this book it's SO good.

This book is so good. It surprised me a lot ! The person who surprised me most was lacy ! She called summers crush babe who does that?!! I could not believe lacy ended up having a crush on Lincoln ! I am glad that summer and lacy became friends again ). And that summer and Lincoln got together to. I wonder what Dane is going to do now! I suggest you read this book) ) !!!
This book is really good. I think it is so sad that Summer and Lacy let their crushes come between each other. BUT, I'm glad they are up. Boys are dangerous for a girl's heart. Especially Dane McGraw, he is nothing but a heart breaker to every girl in his school.
