Blood Bone Modern Tales of Faerie The Iron World Series Book 2 edition by Candace Osmond Majeau Designs Paranormal Romance eBooks Reviews
I loved it as much as the first book in the series. At first glance The Iron World Series appears to be your typical faerie book. It has both Summer and Winter courts, but it also has the Dark Court. Yes, there are similarities, but these only lie in the backbone of the book. They are necessary for the story line. The twist Candace Osmond puts on everything makes it a remarkable story, one that will capture your attention and you will not want to put Blood & Bone down until you finish it. She puts SOOOO much detail into her books that you feel as if you are actually in the story. She makes you see and smell what Avery does. I LOVE books that do that. I recommend this series to anyone that loves books about Fey and Vampires!! Candace is a truly amazing and talented author=) Can't wait to read the next book in the series!
This is an amazing second book is this series. So well written that I totally didn't ever want to put it down. The feels in this book are so strong. You will probably cry, probably want to throw the book too a few times and yell. Emotions run strong and I am hard pressed to say anymore because I want the next book in this series and I want it now! The suspense, murder, intrigue, the whole thing is wickedly good.
My Rating 3.5 stars. This was a great book two! I thought Ms. Osmond did a great job of continuing the story and bringing even more elements in. I enjoy her writing style; I was hooked from the beginning. The characters are well done and believable, and she found a way to make me like the vampire/werewolf/fairy world again. The story has a few elements in it that sound familiar, but it is also so unique and creative. This book is full of surprises, and the one at the end is a total cliffhanger! I enjoyed this book. It is a little darker than the first book, but not too much. There is language, including the "f" word. There is a lot of "intimacy," and some of the scenes are very detailed. There is also a lot of violence in this book. A few characters die, and some of the fighting scenes are quite graphic. I would not recommend this book for YA or younger, I would say it is best for adult readers. You may read my full review on my book blog the-readathon.blogspot.com.
I enjoyed this second book from the Iron World Series, by author Candace Osmond, the most out of the three. It contained a lot of excitement, and was a page turner to the end. In this book, Avery must make some tough decisions to either become a vampire and be with her beloved Jack forever, or become Fey and save Faerie. Along with this life altering decision, Avery has acquired an enemy, a war is brewing between the magical beings, and the king of the Dark Court has set his sights on Avery to make her his. During this war, Avery faces some tragedy and losses, and in the aftermath, changes her involvement with one of the characters. She may be swayed to settle her predicament one way, but there is some big twists and discoveries in the story that could stop that. The book ends on a cliffhanger and makes the reader want to pick up the last one right away!
awsome book!!
It's a cute story, I read it when it was still sampled on WattPad and then bought it. It's a quick easy read.
Loved every second of it! Off to grab #3 to continue the story. Can't wait to see how it end.
Omg! I didn't think it was possible to get any better but Candace Osmond proved me wrong. This series is not one to be missed! Can't wait to see what comes next.
