First off I would like to state that I really enjoy the cover. I spent ten years in the infantry and seeing something that looks close to an M113 on another planet kind of warms the coal chunk that I call my heart. That being said, Galaxy is a bit of Space Opera that encompasses military SciFi, interaction with other humanoid species and the understanding that we may not always be the biggest. There is also a segue into time travel or reality distortion.
I found the book to be a short and fun read and I recommend it to those who want a brief escape without getting bogged down.
